ABOUT SATINDER
Rewriting Limits
Over 30 years of NHS GP experience, a profound personal journey through adversity, and an unwavering belief that you are always more than your diagnosis.
WHY THIS MATTERS
You deserve more than a 10-minute appointment
We are seeing a steep rise in long-term health conditions from an ever-younger age. Word on the ground is that you don't want more drugs or medical interventions. You want more time with a health professional who listens to your story, someone who knows you can create a more positive future narrative.
Over the decades, patients repeatedly tell me that I listen and I understand them.
I've been there. I know how hard it can be to walk through change. I live with a physical disability and have navigated many serious health conditions, a stroke aged 20, five months in hospital, in a coma. Often written off, I say: no thanks.
You can do a lot more than you think you can with your mind and body, and live the life you want.
My goal is for you to flourish towards a more meaningful life.
WHAT SETS ME APART
What Makes Me Different
Dual Perspective
I bring together decades of clinical medical practice and a profound personal history, including a severe stroke at 20, physical disability, chronic illness, a coercive marriage, and significant caring responsibilities. This gives me a depth of understanding and human credibility that cannot be taught.
Seeing Beneath the Surface
I listen for the hidden narrative, the loss of self, the unnamed fear, the quiet disconnection, that is often masked by presenting symptoms. I treat the person, not the diagnosis.
Evidence-Led, Whole-Health Support
My work is practical and goal-oriented, pairing rigorous medical insight, including detailed questionnaires, clinical testing, and where relevant, blood and epigenetic marker interpretation, with transformational coaching tools. I fundamentally believe you are always more than your diagnosis.
"I treat the person,
not just the symptom."

WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE ME
A safe space where complexity is genuinely understood
My clients trust me because I hold immense clinical authority without reducing them to a label. I am non-judgmental, grounded in real adversity, and offer a safe, steady space where complexity is genuinely understood and a practical way forward is found.
My dual perspective, as both clinician and patient, shapes everything I do. I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the desk, and I never forget it.
I fundamentally believe you are always more than your diagnosis.
You can do a lot more than you think you can, with your mind, your body, and your life.
BEYOND THE CLINIC
A life lived fully
I'm a mother, wife, sailor, smallholder and lover of life-affirming crazy adventure, all of this with over 40 years of disability, and despite many long-term health conditions and life traumas.
I've also held senior NHS clinical commissioning leadership roles and am Trustee of Different Strokes National Charity, supporting younger stroke survivors.
In 2018 I was awarded the Pride of Teesdale Award as Inspirational Person, for setting up local charity
serenitysth.org.
You've done so much for the Dales. You're an amazing person and have achieved more than any clinical leader I know. You have inspired us all and challenged us to look at what's really important and what will make the difference to those who matter, our patients and their families.
